What is covered by the lifetime warranty?

All pans and knives. The Skottsberg lifetime warranty covers normal household use. It covers defects resulting from faults in materials, construction or manufacturing. Covered defects include:

• Manufacturing defects: handle that becomes loose, missing or loose rivet, incorrect assembly of parts, misaligned handle.
• Material defects: cracks or fractures.
• Construction issues: parts that are bent or warped, base that is not flat, components that do not fit properly, deformed parts.

What is not covered by the lifetime warranty?

Our lifetime warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, insufficient maintenance or normal wear and tear. The following are not covered by the warranty:

• Normal signs of use.
• Colour discolouration due to heat, rust, stains or wear.
• Damage caused by overheating, misuse or dropping.
• Damage caused by melted objects or other external sources leaving residues on the pan.
• Damage caused by abrasive or cleaning agents.
• Improper maintenance that goes against the supplied care instructions.

Can the lifetime warranty become void?

Yes. To be eligible for the warranty, you must follow the usage and maintenance instructions provided with the product. It is also important that you can provide proof of purchase to show where you bought your Skottsberg product. The warranty is handled through the point of purchase where you bought the item.

This warranty is intended for domestic use. For professional or commercial use, different warranty terms may apply.
