The Skottsberg Cast Iron Grill Pan is durable, energy-saving and, when used correctly, stands for a lifetime of cooking pleasure. Because once the pan reaches the right temperature, it needs very little energy to stay hot. This cast iron grill pan is not only strong, robust and indestructible, it is also suitable for any heat source. Cooking on induction, bbq, open fire and in the oven is no problem for this grill pan. By indestructible, of course, we mean when used properly. If you throw it off the balcony, you probably won't be able to use it afterwards. Avoid thermal shock, this way you will prevent the pan from cracking or breaking. So don't heat up a cold pan on full gas and don't put a hot pan under the cold tap. Actually quite simple right?

This pan does not have an unhealthy, synthetic non-stick coating, but a natural one. The frying pan is completely PFOA and PTFE-free. Great for people and nature!

Suitable for high temperatures
You may also put the pan in the oven, or directly on the bbq or in an open flame, if you are in a boisterous mood. But of course this pan will also do just fine on a cooker or induction hob. Also nice: we have given this pan a heat treatment, so it is more scratch-resistant and won't rust. Unless you start neglecting the pan. But we believe you understand that perfectly.

Holds heat for a long time
This indestructible grill pan is made of a single piece of traditional cast iron. Handy for exercising your arm muscles, but even better for a solid pot of frying and roasting. It takes a while for this Skottsberg showpiece to heat up, but it retains the heat extremely long, so it is ideal for roasting adventures that take a little longer. The handle of this grill pan is hollow, so it doesn't get hot and is easy to hold.

Improve the natural non-stick layer by seasoning the pan itself
We hate synthetic non-stick coatings. They are bad for the environment and your health. We have seasoned it with a 100% natural vegetable oil to create a healthy non-stick coating. It is best to season it an extra time yourself. And then use it nice and often: because the more often you put the pan on the fire, the better that layer gets. Read how to season your pan here.
