Avoid thermal shock to prevent the pan from warping. Do not place a cold pan straight onto full heat and never put a hot pan under a cold tap. Quite simple really, right? The pan does not have a synthetic non stick coating. Instead, we have seasoned it with vegetable oil to create a natural layer. This pancake pan can endure high temperatures and heats up quickly. So those pancakes are ready to be eaten within no time, so you can start thinking about the toppings!

The pan is pre-seasoned and immediately ready for use
The pancake pan is pre-seasoned, i.e.; the pan has been seasoned twice with 100% natural vegetable oil and reacts like a non-stick pan. In addition, the bottom of the pan has the perfect thickness (2.5 mm) to prevent warping on induction. You do have to use the pan in the right way. So don't place it on the hottest stove straight away, carbon steel doesn't like that. The handle of this pancake pan is hollow and does not take the heat from the pan.
