The wok has a natural non-stick coating, which gets better and better the more you use it. So no synthetic agents have been used to fry your stir-fries deliciously in it. That's great for your health, but certainly also for the environment.

The wok pan without PFOA and PTFE that ensures a lifetime of cooking pleasure
The carbon steel wok is strong, robust and indestructible and is suitable for any heat source. By indestructible, we mean indestructible when used properly. You shouldn't drive a car over it. But you get that. And avoid thermal shock. This will prevent the pan from breaking. So don’t put a cold pan on the highest heat and don’t hold a hot pan under the cold tap. Actually quite simple! The wok pan has an industrial look, is durable and energy-saving because the pan retains heat well. When used correctly, the wok pan stands for a lifetime of cooking pleasure.
A few more things that make you really have to have this pan: because the bottom of the pan is no less than 2.5 millimetres thick, it is well protected against warping, even when cooking on induction. Just make sure not to overheat the hob straight away, as carbon steel doesn't like that. The pan is so strong that it cannot be broken and will last a lifetime. Great durability, in other words.
Suitable for large and small households
What is special about our Skottsberg Wok Carbon Steel: this wok is available in two sizes. Usually wok pans are very large. But we have a 24 cm wok pan in addition to the 28 cm. This 24 cm is a universal wok/snack/frying pan that is also suitable for just frying an egg. Super handy for smaller households, where a large wok is normally far too big. That saves on storage space!
Tasty high-temperature woks
This wok can withstand high temperatures and is therefore great for frying fish and meat and preparing stir-fry dishes. This Carbon Steel wok pan heats up quickly. With this wok pan, you put not only the tastiest but also healthy dishes on the table. It heats up quickly, except for the handle, which is hollow and therefore easy to hold. You can also put it in the oven with confidence, as there is nothing meltable on it.
Restore the natural non-stick layer yourself by seasoning the pan
The wok pan has the look of a non-stick coating and is appreciated for a number of special properties. The wok is pre-seasoned, that is; the pan has been seasoned twice with 100% natural vegetable oil and reacts like a non-stick pan. This allows you to use pan out of the packaging straight away. Over time, you have the option of restoring the pan's natural non-stick layer yourself. This can be done easily with our seasoning oil.
