Evenly and quickly hot
The Skottsberg Stainless Steel wok is appreciated for a number of special features. The wok consists of three layers of metal, hence the name Tri-ply stainless steel. The layer on the outside is made of 18/0 stainless steel. This makes the pan very strong but also magnetic so it is suitable for induction. The intermediate layer of the pan is made of aluminium, an extremely heat-conducting metal. As a result, the pan heats up quickly and evenly. The aluminium layer extends all the way to the sides of the pan, so the pan heats up evenly and quickly right up to the rim. The third layer, on the inside of the pan, is made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel. So even if you wanted to wok on a swaying ship on rough seas, all ingredients will still heat up evenly.
Avoid thermal shock, this will prevent the pan from breaking. So don’t put a cold pan on the highest heat and don’t hold a hot pan under the cold tap. Actually quite simple!
Holds heat very well
The stainless steel wok pan withstands high temperatures well. It has a diameter of 28 cm and is 2.5 mm thick. This thickness means heat is retained very well while preparing the tastiest dishes.
Compatible heat sources
This pan works on every heat source: gas, ceramic, halogen, induction and oven. For the true adventurers, thanks to the magnetic stainless steel exterior, it even handles open flames or the barbecue without breaking a sweat.
Can a stainless steel pan go on induction? Yes. Absolutely. Thanks to the magnetic exterior, a stainless steel pan and your induction hob are actually great friends. Just always lift the pan when you want to move it - sliding it across the glass will cause scratches. Please note: these pans are suitable for use on a standard household induction hob with a maximum output of 2,500 W per zone.
A sustainable pan without PFAS, PFOA and PTFE that lasts a lifetime
There is no synthetic non-stick coating, so you're not only serving much tastier dishes like this ravioli with tomato sauce recipe, they are also much healthier. The wok is completely PFAS-free, which is nice for people and nature.
Cleaning your new best cooking friend is deadly easy, you can even just put it in the dishwasher. If you take good care of your pan and follow our maintenance plan for stainless steel pans, you are assured of a pan for life.
