Excellent and even heat distribution
This stainless steel sauté pan is constructed with a Tri-ply body, made up of three bonded layers of metal. The interior features premium 18/10 stainless steel, while the exterior is made from durable 18/0 stainless steel. Sandwiched in between is a layer of aluminium that extends from the base all the way to the rim, ensuring consistent heat from edge to edge, even on an uneven surface. The tough exterior also makes this pan ideal for induction cooking. Tip: Prevent warping by avoiding thermal shock. Don’t crank up a cold pan on full heat or cool it rapidly under cold water.
Holds heat well
Thanks to its solid construction, this sauté pan can handle intense heat. It's perfect for searing, roasting or pan-frying vegetables, fish, meats, potatoes, meatballs, pancakes, wraps, paella or grilled sandwiches. Use it on any heat source, and it is oven-proof too. The extra-thick 2.5 mm base keeps it stable on induction, as long as you bring the heat up gradually.
Compatible heat sources
This pan works on every heat source: gas, ceramic, halogen, induction and oven. For the true adventurers, thanks to the magnetic stainless steel exterior, it even handles open flames or the barbecue without breaking a sweat.
Can a stainless steel pan go on induction? Yes. Absolutely. A stainless steel pan and your induction hob are actually great friends. Just always lift the pan when you want to move it - sliding it across the glass will cause scratches. Please note: these pans are suitable for use on a standard household induction hob with a maximum output of 2,500 W per zone.
